Find the right person to care for your pet.
Petsitting.in is a marketplace for pet care in India: real people, real jobs, and a booking you can follow from first message to final review.
Why we're building this
Leaving a pet with someone is an act of trust. Too often in India it still happens through a forwarded number, a group chat or a half-remembered recommendation, with no record of what was agreed.
We're building a place where owners can see who they're dealing with, ask questions, meet first and book with the details written down. And where sitters, whether independent or running a boarding business, can set their own terms and build a reputation that belongs to them.
What a directory can't do
| A typical directory | Petsitting.in | |
|---|---|---|
| Finding care | Search a list | Search, or post a request and receive quotes |
| Pricing | Call for a price | Itemised quotes before you commit |
| Trust | Self-reported claims | Badges only for completed checks and real bookings |
| Before booking | Exchange phone numbers | Private chat and optional meet and greet |
| Booking | Handled off-platform | Recorded booking, online payment, updates and review |
| If it goes wrong | You're on your own | Reporting and a dispute process |
What we stand for
Trust is earned, not claimed
A badge means a completed verification or real activity. A profile photo alone never makes anyone "trusted".
Honest about limits
We say what we verify and what we don't. We don't claim insurance cover we don't offer.
Ranking you can read
Results reflect relevance, availability, location and track record. Paid placement is always labelled.
Private by default
Contact details and home addresses stay hidden until a booking is confirmed. ID documents are never public.
Fair to sitters
Sitters set their rates, choose their jobs and see the platform fee up front.
Built for India
Rupees, UPI, state-to-pincode locations and room for more Indian languages.
For owners and sitters alike
Owners compare real profiles and book with confidence. Sitters and pet-care businesses get a free profile, a steady flow of matching requests and verified reviews they keep.
Where we are
Petsitting.in is being built in stages, starting with profiles, search and requests, then quotes, bookings and payments. Sample data in previews is labelled, and we won't show reviews or verification that haven't happened.
